equipment reservations

guidelines and rules

In Progress provides quality digital production tools to artists and contractors for the purpose of equalizing access opportunities for all people committed to furthering their skills as digital artists and storytellers.  Presently all tools are loaned at no costs for limited time periods.  Those that borrow equipment, should be connected and involved in In Progress activities and must be qualified before gaining access.

please read before submitting a request

  • Please send requests at least 2 days in advanced to give us time to schedule and organize EQ. Staff has to plan time to come to the studio to handle checkouts. If you send a request too late, you may miss the window. Please plan ahead.

  • A reservation request DOES NOT guarantee you an EQ checkout. Here are a few reasons as to why:

    • the previous artist has not returned EQ in time for your reservation

    • the EQ you have reserved is damaged or missing

    • the studio is closed due to an emergency

  • EQ is due back by 3pm of the End/Return date. If you cannot make it by 3pm, please plan to return EQ at an earlier date.

responsibilities

  • Please keep track of your checkout dates. Unclaimed checkouts will be canceled after 2 days. Late penalties apply to overdue EQ.

  • You are responsible for EQ checked out under your name. If someone other than you will be handing EQ, please make sure that they know how to do so. Otherwise, loss and damages will fall back onto you.

  • If you are unsure of how to operate EQ, please feel free to ask for help.
