MENTORSHIP
IP artists Kristine Sorensen, Arley Sinks, Jeremy Gardner, Mickies Kiros and Rena Zapata offer mentorship to developing artist artists on digital techniques and project creation. Local artists will have the opportunity to sig up for virtual and in person mentorship to further their work as artists with stories.
CONVERGENCE RETREAT & ARTIST TALK
This fall, 4 filmmakers from the Twin Cities - Kazua Melissa Vang, Tong Lee, Tiana LaPointe and Mickies Kiros will gather as filmmakers to share ideas for upcoming films and find ways to further build their professional networks in the field. As part of this retreat, the artists will also host a movies night - sharing their artwork and speaking with the local community about how they approach telling their own stories through the medium film. Weaving a Wider Community Conference
