BIOGRAPHY

My name is Marcellou. I grew up in Saint Paul, MN and was born here April 6th, 2005.

I joined In Progress when I was about 6 or 7. In Progress was a new area for both my family and I to be present at. There was a point in time I wasn’t attending In Progress, and that was because I moved to Georgia for a fresh start.

I am now back in Minnesota and currently attend Fridley High School. Fridley High School provides lots of good programs that reach many individuals interests, including mine. After high school, I plan to go to college to pursue a degree in business. I also want to become a tattoo artist and a Photographer. These things have been a strong interest of mine for as long as I can remember, even if I was just considered the “cameraman”. 

I used to make short films with my cousins. I believe that was where some of my inspiration to continue photography came from. 

At the end of this mentorship and/or internship, I hope to learn how to capture the perfect moment in a photo; map out and know exactly what and how to shoot a good photo, and expand my hands on learning as it works better with my learning process. For me, learning more in depth technical skills will be a challenge, but it’s a challenge I’m looking forward to.
