Bih Chi
Writer / filmmaker
BIOGRAPHY
Bih Chi, who goes by Mora, has always been drawn to creative expression through writing, dance, and music. Of these artistic pursuits, writing has remained the constant throughout her life. Film has also been a lasting influence, nurtured by a love of cinema passed down from her mother. What began as a source of enjoyment and escape gradually evolved into a creative calling.
The independence of college gave Mora the opportunity to reconnect with artistic interests she had not previously been able to fully explore. Although she initially envisioned becoming a film director, Mora recognized that her greatest strength was storytelling through writing. During her senior year of college, Mora enrolled in a screenwriting course, an experience that solidified her passion for the craft. Since then, she has continued to study and develop as a screenwriter.
Beyond personal expression, Mora is motivated by a desire to become part of a vibrant community of storytellers and to master the art and technology of narrative. She is inspired by films that resonate with emotional honesty, ones that invite audiences to care deeply for their characters, experience joy and heartbreak alongside them, and ultimately leave with a greater understanding of themselves and others. Mora aspires to create work in that tradition, crafting stories with depth, compassion, and lasting impact.
