This exhibition features the photography of Joseph J. Allen (White Earth Ojibwe Reservation) who documents/explores Native Americans engaged in the struggle to maintain and develop a Native identity in a rapidly changing world. Allen’s images focus on individuals who are active in the movement to strengthen and revitalize Indigenous values and traditions. The exhibit was curated by In Progress artist Kristine Sorensen from images presented by nationally recognized photographer Joseph Allen. All images presented in this exhibit belong exclusively to the artist J.A.
