BIOGRAPHY

Myc Daz is a multidisciplinary artist, creative strategist, and founder of Discover Dope Creative—a production and consulting house focused on design, storytelling, and cultural strategy. 

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in the Twin Cities, My has spent the past decade building a body of work that straddles the line between the personal and the political, the poetic and the practical. Through creative direction, public installations, lectures, and writing, he explores themes of place, identity, cultural memory, systems of power, and the emotional architecture of our cities. Whether it’s a mural in a rec center, a curriculum for youth navigating complex emotions, or interior design for a workforce center,  his work always returns to the question:

What makes us feel at home in a place?

At the core of his ethos is an unwavering belief in the power of story and design to reconnect people—to themselves, to each other, and to their purpose.
