BIOGRAPHY

My name is Arianna, or as a lot of people know me as, Ari Never Sorry (meaning I am unapologetically me). I am from the Twin Cities and currently trying to establish my art here. I have been an all around artist from theatre, singing, dancing, drawing, but most of all I am a poet. I am currently an Educational Assistant, providing services for students with special needs. While I thoroughly enjoy my job, I am hoping to one day pursue my art full time.

I got involved with In Process just this past June 2022. I heard about it from a family member that met some artists from the Crookstan location. I knew this had to be a divine connection! I have been looking to expand my writing in more ways than I've already had. That is what I am looking to get out of In Progress. I want to learn how to expand my poetry digitally, through photography and film.

In the past, I have performed spoken word poetry at many different churches and schools around the Twin Cities. I have also performed at memorials, weddings, the list goes on. I used to do theatre, mainly musicals, and even performed at the Orpheum Theatre. I was a part of an Honors Choir for a few years. That's just a brief summary of some of things I have done in the past as an artist.

Currently, I am writing my first book. It is a collection of poems of trials and adversity I have faced in my life. From grief, heartbreak, mental illness, and more. I am writing it from a first person point of view, but in a way my readers will be able to relate and connect. Now that I am a part of In Progress I am currently learning cameras and their functions, so I can bring my writing to life. Stay Tuned!
