EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT GUIDELINES
Rules regarding member use of In Progres digital tools
PURPoSE
To ensure fair access and maintain the quality of our music and camera gear, we are implementing the following updated guidelines regarding late returns and unreported damage or misuse. For those of our artists that utilize our equipment loan program, please review the updated guidelines regarding checkouts. We will be adhering to these new rules with few exceptions.
LATE RETURNS
All equipment must be returned by 3 PM on the due date. If a member anticipates a delay, they must notify the Equipment (EQ) team via email before the due date, providing a reason and an expected return time.
Failure to return equipment on time will result in the following consequences:
1–2 days late → One strike issued on the member’s account.
3–7 days late → Two-week suspension from equipment checkout.
More than 7 days late → Indefinite suspension until the equipment is returned and reviewed by staff. Repeated violations may result in permanent loss of checkout privileges.
Unreported Damage or Misuse Policy
All members are responsible for returning equipment in the same condition as when checked out. Any damage, malfunctions, or missing accessories must be reported immediately upon return.
Minor unreported damage (scratches, loose parts, etc.)
