IP artist Bienvenida Matias leads a hands on workshop exploring the role of “aunties” in carrying families. Members of the community will be invited to join in sharing their best Tía stories - those of support and quiet care, and advocacy that too often can be overlooked by everyone but the person(s) directly benefiting. Stories will be recorded, and portraits will be taken for future exhibition.
