Movie Nights
Please join us on our patio to watch some films, eat a little popcorn and join others in discussions about what it means to be a filmmaker. IP artists Kazua Melissa Vang and Sai Thao have selected some great films to share with you. Please note - some films are intended for developing filmmakers looking to be challenged, and others are dedicated to families looking to enjoy an evening out together.
SCREENING: KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS
Set in feudal Japan, the animated film revolves around Kubo, a young boy who wields a magical shamisen (a Japanese stringed instrument) and whose left eye was stolen during infancy. Accompanied by an anthropomorphic snow monkey and beetle, he must embark on a quest to defeat his mother's evil twin Sisters and his power-hungry grandfather, the Moon King, who is responsible for stealing his left eye.
Recommended for all ages, family friendly event. A light meal will be served. Host Sai Thao
