Joy of Being Reception at Arlington Library

  • Arlington Public Library 1200 Pa=yne Avenue Saint Paul, MN 55130 United States (map)

Please join us at the Arlington Public Library for the exhibit opening of Joy of Being. The exhibit honors the way joy is sourced, nurtured, and shared within the resilient LGBTQIA2+ BIPOC communities of Minnesota. The exhibit offers a way for our communities to celebrate and own who we are, cultivate a sense of pride in our personal identities, and dig into the complexities of how we relate to each other. The Joy of Being creates a place where all identities belong. Understanding that our happiness is untouchable and plentiful becomes a powerful way to resist. Every action in this exhibit is a tribute to our existence.
