Rhonda Hoagland is a digital artist living in Nett Lake Village on the Bois Forte Reservation with her mother and siblings. Known for her creative energy and evolving artistic voice, Rhonda describes herself as artsy, antsy, and full of curiosity. She has developed a deep passion for drawing, particularly using digital tools. While she once sketched on paper, Rhonda now primarily uses a digital tablet to illustrate characters, natural environments, and traditional cultural practices that reflect her heritage and imagination.

As part of her creative journey, Rhonda has been expanding her skills into the realm of animation. She is currently learning animation software, excited by the challenge of bringing her illustrations to life through movement. Her art serves as both a personal outlet and a way to honor the visual traditions that surround her community.

Qualifications

Rhonda is a skilled visual artist with a focus on digital drawing using tablets and styluses. She has experience using DSLR cameras for photography and is knowledgeable in basic editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom.
