Born and raised in the Twin Cities—primarily in Minneapolis and its surrounding suburbs—Rodney Jones is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey spans music, modeling, and photography. Throughout his life, he has written, performed, and produced original music, using sound as a vehicle for storytelling, self-expression, and healing. His visual work reflects a deep appreciation for identity, emotion, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
Now a participant in In Progress, Rodney brings his personal commitment to growth, discipline, and community into a broader creative context. Through both visual and musical arts, he aims to share messages of hope, resilience, and love, fostering respect and connection among audiences of all ages. With each new project, Rodney continues to evolve as an artist and community voice, dedicated to uplifting others through honest and intentional storytelling.
