LABEL 213 is a professional development program dedicated to advancing the artistic path of contemporary music artists. In Progress staff identifies music artists, that already have experience working with In Progress and have completed 3 or more songs. There is no cost to participate but the program is rigorous and requires a commitment of time and willingness to work with and support others in the program. Currently the program is not accepting new applicants into the program.
THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:
CYPHERS –participants share songs, discuss themes within their music, and identify skill strengths/weaknesses.
STUDIO TRAINING – participants learn the general operation of the In Progress music studio. Once trained, artists may reserve creative time in the building to practice and further develop their skills.
PERFORMANCE TRAINING - participants have the opportunity to work with professional performers on developing their stage presence and performance capabilities.
SOUND ENGINEERING– participants work with sound engineers and beat makers to perfect their songs through professional live recording, mixing and mastering of their songs.
BRANDING –media professionals provide mentorship in the area of translating each artist’s music style into visual form. Professionals partner with LABEL participants to create representative visual translations of their work. and may include: album photography, music videos, or live event documentation.
LABEL2thirteen is a hybrid program that takes our work with digital arts into a specialized program dedicated to advancing the careers of self-made music artists.
