BIOGRAPHY

Sea Lee is a Minnesota-based filmmaker, director, producer, digital creator, and co-founder of JustForYou Production LLC (JFYP), an independent production company focused on narrative filmmaking, digital content, and creative storytelling.

Sea directed Your Unspoken Words, an original multi-episode drama series created by the JustForYou Production team, produced in Minnesota, and released on YouTube in 2026. One of JFYP’s most ambitious projects to date, the production brought together more than 120 cast members, crew, volunteers, creatives, and community contributors across different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Built largely through volunteer and community participation, the series reflects JFYP’s commitment to creating opportunities for emerging talent, underrepresented voices, and independent creatives across Minnesota. As a director, Sea takes a hands-on and collaborative approach to filmmaking, with an emphasis on character-driven storytelling, performance, and creating space for both experienced and emerging creatives to contribute.

Your Unspoken Words is a community-driven drama exploring relationships, loyalty, identity, trauma, personal struggles, and the emotions people often leave unspoken. The series also incorporates LGBTQ+ themes and relationships while raising awareness around difficult social issues, including child exploitation and trafficking. Through its fictional characters and storylines, the project aims to encourage conversations around subjects that can be difficult to address openly.

The production also created an opportunity to showcase the skills and talents of Minnesota’s martial arts community. Through action sequences, performance, and collaboration with local martial artists and training organizations, JFYP sought to highlight the depth of martial arts talent across Minnesota while providing local performers with another platform to bring their abilities to the screen.

Working with Sifu Peter Kwong of MKG North Martial Arts, the production incorporated martial arts expertise and stunt choreography to bring greater authenticity, energy, and movement to the series’ action sequences. The production was supported through partnerships with SynfulKitty, MKG North Martial Arts, Studio Aesthetik, and The Academy MN, along with support from In Progress and its commitment to supporting artists and creative development in Minnesota.

Beyond filmmaking, Sea works across digital content, visual storytelling, social media, music development, and emerging creative technologies. Her work emphasizes collaboration, diverse representation, community-driven storytelling, and creating opportunities for people to participate in independent creative production.
