BIOGRAPHY

Purpose Madison is a photographer, content creator, and curator based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose work is rooted in visual storytelling, identity, and intentional aesthetic design. At 24 years old, Purpose brings both lived experience and emerging creative vision to the spaces she inhabits. Though originally from various parts of the country, she primarily calls the Twin Cities home and actively shoots in and around the metro area.

Her journey with In Progress began three years ago after being introduced to the organization by a friend. After touring the space and connecting with the community of artists and mentors, she became inspired to join. Through this experience, she began to develop and expand her skills in photography. Although the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted her early progress, Purpose has remained committed to her growth and creative evolution.

Over the years, she has captured a wide array of images including portraits, concerts, local events, boudoir sessions, and promotional photography for local medical clinics. These projects reflect her versatility and desire to tell powerful stories through composition, light, and mood.

Now returning to In Progress, Purpose is focused on deepening her technical knowledge and becoming more confident with her camera and creative process. She is actively building her personal brand, “PM,” which is envisioned as a creative platform centered around style, fashion, and emotional storytelling through photography.
