BIOGRAPHY

Hello, My name is Monti MorningStar. I’m an Artist coming out of Minnesota. I don’t like to be classified as a musician because I know I am capable of much more.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1999. I lived there until I was 4 and then moved to the twin cities here in Minnesota.

If you were to ask me what music meant to me at this point in time, I’d tell you it’s a challenge separating me from my higher self. It’s something as natural as taking a breath… and for me to breathe is for me to be felt, to be seen in a world full of passing images to be appreciated for my pain and the ways it’s made me grow… right now to me music means “A pay off” but in the grand scheme its an expression of my soul, an extension of my being, and an example of my pain and my journey. Also its a mood alterer.
