BIOGRAPHY

 My name is Houa Moua. I have been an admirer and lurker of In Progress for years. I’ve been wanting to learn the art of storytelling for a very long time now and am hoping that In Progress will help me in doing so through all physical performance medium, Stage Performance, Videography, and Podcasting. I've been toying with the idea of starting a YouTube Channel which will expand where I can share my stories. 

As an artist, I’ve been a part of a Spoken Word Theater by the name of Face to Face: Hmong Women’s Experiences. It all played out in March 2020 at Park Square Theater and the show I was a part of was their last show before lockdown.

I am now writing a script and documentary based around the lives of Three Hmong Women with Disabilities in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

For the future, I plan to continue acting, script writing, and begin directing documentaries. I’m not working for anyone, artistically, but I do want to continue script writing for myself, and hopefully share it with the world one day.
