BIOGRAPHY

Carson Plugge is a filmmaker interested in reimagining how films are created, shared, and experienced. He sees filmmaking as a tool for challenging existing systems, inspiring dialogue, and advancing meaningful structural change.

Carson hopes to establish a community-based filmmaking practice in the Twin Cities that operates independently of traditional film industry institutions. He envisions a collaborative approach in which community members create their own films, organize screenings in local spaces, exchange ideas, and explore new possibilities for filmmaking and collective action.
