BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Reed is an emerging artist, producer, and community advocate whose work is deeply informed by a life marked by adversity, resilience, and transformation. Raised on the Northside of Minneapolis, Daniel experienced significant hardship from an early age. At nine years old, he witnessed the tragic loss of his father, an event that profoundly shaped the course of his life. As the youngest of fourteen siblings, he grew up amid family instability, separation from loved ones, and periods of homelessness.

Rather than allowing those experiences to define him, Daniel has chosen to rewrite his story with purpose, healing, and hope. Through music, he found a powerful outlet for processing trauma and expressing emotions that once felt impossible to communicate. What began as a personal coping mechanism evolved into a passion for creative expression and a vision for community impact.

Today, Daniel is pursuing a path as a music producer, sound engineer, manager, and mentor. His goal is to use his experiences to inspire young people facing similar challenges and to create opportunities for them to share their own stories. He is particularly committed to supporting youth from underserved and historically marginalized communities, providing spaces where they can channel their experiences, emotions, and aspirations through music and the arts.

Through his creative work and community leadership, Daniel seeks to transform personal adversity into collective empowerment, helping others discover their voice, build confidence, and imagine new possibilities for their future.
