Kojo Reed, known professionally as KPW, is an independent hip hop artist and producer whose music blends thoughtful lyricism with themes of personal growth, freedom, and self-discovery. Originally from Northern Virginia, Kojo relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota as a teenager, where he began writing and recording music at the age of sixteen.

Driven by a content-focused approach to songwriting, KPW creates music that combines a classic hip hop sound with messages centered on motivation, overcoming limiting beliefs, and positive transformation. While many listeners categorize his work as conscious rap, Kojo prefers not to be confined to a single label, believing that meaningful music can resonate across diverse audiences and experiences.
