Her photographic work spans intimate portraiture, promotional materials, and community-based visual storytelling. As a film poet, she combines visual imagery with lyrical narrative, creating work that explores identity, place, and resilience.
In addition to her own art-making, Cristina is a skilled teaching artist and arts organizer. She leads touring arts programs and facilitates workshops for youth and adults across rural Minnesota, particularly within underrepresented and immigrant communities. Her teaching practice emphasizes accessibility, creative self-expression, and technical proficiency in multimedia tools. Cristina is highly proficient in industry-standard software applications used in video editing, photography, and design, which she integrates into her curriculum and mentorship.
