BIOGRAPHY

Montrea Talabi is an emerging videographer and photographer based in Minnesota who has been exploring visual storytelling for the past two years. Reigniting his creative journey through the local group “Rhythm,” Montrea has gained experience capturing intimate moments at community gatherings and private events. While still early in his career, Montrea is steadily building a foundation in digital media by taking on new challenges and learning through hands-on experiences.

Drawn especially to the beauty of the natural world, Montrea finds inspiration in everyday elements like skies, trees, waterfalls, and sunlight. His recent foray into photography has focused on capturing these “earthly things,” using the camera as a tool to preserve peaceful moments and convey deeper emotional landscapes.

Montrea has joined In Progress with a strong desire to grow as a visual storyteller and to receive mentorship that can help guide him toward larger goals in media production. He is eager to gain new skills, build meaningful creative connections, and step more confidently into his artistic voice as both a filmmaker and photographer.
