Thelmalee is a passionate and emerging multidisciplinary artist based in the North End of Saint Paul, Minnesota, where they have lived for much of their life. A proud member of the Central High School Class of 2020, Thelmalee is dedicated to exploring and growing as a poet, visual artist, and up-and-coming photographer. Their creative practice is rooted in a belief in openness, curiosity, and a commitment to learning from different perspectives.

As a poet and visual storyteller, Thelmalee uses words and images to share personal reflections while connecting with broader community experiences. They are excited to share their talents with other artists, valuing collaboration as a way to exchange ideas, expand horizons, and inspire growth. Thelmalee looks forward to working alongside fellow artist Aaliyah on their upcoming series—an opportunity they see as a chance to experiment, create, and discover new possibilities together.

They bring a thoughtful approach to conceptual photography, using images to tell meaningful stories and evoke emotion.

Their technical abilities include post-production editing in photography, with proficiency in industry-standard software applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Additionally, Thelmalee is skilled in using MS Word for writing and project planning, supporting their work as both a poet and visual artist. This combination of creative vision and technical expertise positions Thelmalee as a versatile and dedicated emerging artist ready to grow and collaborate with others.
