BIOGRAPHY

Yang Vang is an emerging photographer based in Minnesota who is in the early stages of exploring his long-standing passion for photography. At 44 years old, Yang brings with him a rich life perspective and a deep curiosity about visual storytelling. Though his interest in photography has been present for many years, he is now taking the steps to learn the technical and creative aspects of the art form through his involvement with In Progress.

Motivated by a desire to better understand how to craft compelling images, Yang is focused on developing the foundational skills of photography. His goals include learning how to visualize a photograph before taking the shot, gaining confidence with camera operations, and understanding how different cameras and lenses affect composition and quality. Yang’s eagerness to grow and experiment reflects his commitment to learning and self-expression through digital media.
