Yer Vang is a passionate storyteller and multimedia creative with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Communication and Emerging Media. Her academic focus included a concentration in Applied Journalism and an emphasis in Digital Storytelling, laying a strong foundation for her work as both a writer and a visual artist.

Yer has been crafting stories since middle school and dreams of becoming a published author and screenwriter. With a deep love for narrative and character development, she hopes to one day adapt her written stories into full-length screenplays for film or television. Her creative process is inspired by the limitless imagination of others—how people express themselves across art forms—and this inspiration drives her to explore multiple mediums including writing, graphic design, and video editing.

Her interest in visual storytelling began in high school, when she first experimented with filmmaking alongside her sisters and their friends. Though their early productions were filled with trial and error, the experience of working together and having fun while creating sparked a long-lasting love for collaboration and artistic expression. Yer believes that joy and connection are just as important to the filmmaking process as technical expertise.

As a member of JustForYou Production, Yer is excited to grow as part of a supportive and ambitious film team. She looks forward to developing her craft alongside fellow creatives and contributing to projects that resonate with others.
