Growing up, I was always a shy little girl who always had someone speaking for me, but now I have grown to speak for myself. As I struggled through depression, I have found people and things who have shown me more in life. Joining NJROTC has given me a purpose to strive and love the military.

Everyone has something that inspires them to do better. NJROTC, Navy Junior Reserved Training Corp teaches discipline, citizenship, and leadership which has given me a voice, and a purpose to believe in what I do. NJROTC has given me the opportunity to travel, meet great people, and create memories I will always think back to.
This video follows our trip on our drill meet in Great Lakes and captures the happiness within the unit, the teamwork we share, and the love we have for one another.
