BIOGRAPHY

Martina Vue is a photographer and graduate of Harding High School whose creative path began through early exposure to community-based arts learning. She first discovered her interest in photography in 2011-2012 after visiting In Progress with her cousins and sisters. That introduction sparked a lasting curiosity about visual storytelling and motivated her to return in order to deepen her technical skills and artistic perspective.

Her photography developed alongside her involvement with NJROTC, where she began documenting competitions and training events. This experience shaped her preference for capturing people in motion rather than staging scenes. Martina focuses on photographing authentic moments — expressions, gestures, and interactions that communicate energy and narrative. She pays close attention to angles, framing, and composition to ensure her images feel balanced and immersive. As her confidence grew behind the camera, she expanded into editing, learning how to enhance color, tone, and clarity while preserving the natural feel of the original moment.

Martina approaches photography as a way to preserve action, teamwork, and lived experiences. Her work reflects an interest in movement and realism, emphasizing storytelling through candid imagery. By combining observational awareness with technical refinement, she continues to strengthen her ability to create photographs that feel dynamic, grounded, and alive.
