BIOGRAPHY

Yeeleng Vue, who also goes by G, is a multidisciplinary artist, music producer, mentor, and spiritual practitioner based in Minnesota. Deeply rooted in the arts from a young age, Yeeleng began exploring creative expression by sketching Power Rangers as a toddler and later found his calling through music and sound. His journey with music production began in 2007 at In Progress, where he not only developed his own artistic voice but eventually became a respected music instructor and mentor for emerging artists.

Yeeleng’s musical evolution was inspired by his father, whose electric guitar playing filled their family home. Those early memories instilled in Yeeleng a love for melody and rhythm, leading him to explore sound engineering and the expressive power of music. As he refined his craft, he discovered how music could be a medium not just for storytelling, but for healing.

In 2013, Yeeleng’s artistic and spiritual paths converged when he traveled to Dharamshala, India, where he studied with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. This transformative experience introduced him to practices of compassion, mindfulness, and holistic healing. There, Yeeleng encountered Tibetan singing bowls, crystal therapy, and sound healing—modalities that deeply influenced his current work as a sound healing practitioner and wellness artist.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Yeeleng is a visual artist whose large-scale artwork celebrates Hmong heritage and ancestral knowledge. He also designs crystal jewelry using macramé and polymer clay, merging spiritual practice with material artistry. His designs often reflect his connection to the earth, cultural storytelling, and intuitive healing.
