Talaya Woods is a Minnesota-based photographer with nearly four years of hands-on experience developing her craft through experimentation, persistence, and formal study. What began as self-directed exploration evolved into a focused pursuit of professional training, and she is currently working toward an associate’s degree in Photography and Motion to deepen both her technical and creative skill set.

Talaya is drawn to visually expressive work, specializing in creative portraiture, concert photography, and live events. Her approach blends intuition with deliberate technique, allowing her to capture personality, atmosphere, and movement in ways that feel energetic and authentic. She values experimentation and sees each project as an opportunity to refine her eye, expand her visual language, and build stronger storytelling through imagery.

In addition to her artistic growth, Talaya has actively pursued professional development that bridges creativity and entrepreneurship. Her experience interning with media and technology-focused organizations exposed her to fast-paced production environments and high-profile client work, strengthening her adaptability, communication skills, and understanding of content creation within professional settings. She continues to build her career at the intersection of artistry and business, with the goal of creating impactful visual work while sustaining a long-term creative practice.

Talaya completed a year-long internship with Packed House Live and The Startup Hussle, where she produced visual content for high-profile clients throughout the Twin Cities, gaining real-world experience in event coverage, branding, and digital media production.
