BIOGRAPHY

Yeeling Xiong was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and has been deeply connected to music for more than six years. His musical journey began with learning to play instruments and eventually expanded into performing in a band, where he spent over two years developing his stage presence, collaboration skills, and musical versatility. These early experiences shaped his understanding of rhythm, arrangement, and the power of collective sound.

As a self-taught, emerging producer, Yeeling gravitates toward blues and light metal, drawn to their emotional intensity and expressive depth. He is especially passionate about blending these genres with elements of Hmong musical traditions, exploring how cultural roots can coexist with modern production techniques. His long-term vision is to help elevate Hmong music by fusing traditional sounds, themes, and instrumentation with contemporary beats and studio craftsmanship, creating a bridge between generations and audiences.

Currently, Yeeling is focused on strengthening his technical skills in mixing and mastering, vocal recording, and beat production. He is eager to refine his ear for detail, improve sound quality, and build a stronger command of studio workflows. He views growth as both a technical and creative process—one that requires experimentation, mentorship, and consistent practice.

Qualifications
