BIOGRAPHY

Caroline Yang is a photojournalist / documentary photographer based in St. Paul, MN. Yang is a storyteller, and aims to create photographs that reflect the depth and complexities of the human experience, and bring understanding and connection to our communities. 

Yang earned a BA from Tufts University in Boston, MA, and worked as an advertising account executive at Fallon for three years before beginning her career as a professional photographer. She opened her studio in 2001, and has worked with The New York Times, Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, Huffington Post, US News and World Report, and many others. Her major projects include the Tour de France (2004-2006), Hunger in Minnesota (for Minnesota Public Radio), The St. Paul Ballet Project, and the social justice movement in the Twin Cities.
