Biography
My name is Chenglen Yang. I am a music producer/composer specializing in orchestral music.
I got involved with InProgress through the mentorship program. I heard about it through Malia and My sister Schoua Na. Once hearing about the different programs and opportunities, I decided I would like to get involved.
While at InProgress, I would like to go through real world experiences with experienced Artist’s, to help improve my music skills and access to professional grade equipment.
I share my works through my YouTube Channel and am currently working on a cover album with other music composers and musicians.
I am working on improving my skills as a music composer, and working on self-branding.
In the future, I’d like to be working full time with other artists and producers in search of my orchestral music. Whether that would be through freelance work, or through film/media/game industry.
As a musician, it’s important to remember that we are craftsmen creating stories through our song’s.
