Ethan Yang, known artistically as Ethan Phoenixx, is a Hmong-American vocalist based in Minneapolis whose work blends emotional honesty with genre versatility. Drawing inspiration from pop, gospel, and alternative music, Ethan crafts performances that are expressive, layered, and rooted in lived experience.

Music has long been a foundation in Ethan’s life, shaped by both formal and self-directed training. His background in choir and theater strengthened his technical control, stage presence, and understanding of harmony, while also nurturing his confidence as a performer. These early experiences continue to inform his vocal range and ability to interpret songs with emotional depth.
