BIOGRAPHY

Peng Yang is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose work centers on capturing emotion and atmosphere through imagery. His creative practice spans photography, videography, filmmaking, and graphic design, all of which he uses as tools to translate feeling and narrative into visual form.

Peng has been working in photography and videography for more than three and a half years and has practiced graphic design for approximately three years. During this time, he has explored a range of creative fields including branding, commercial work, interior design photography, travel content, fashion photography, and cinematic storytelling. His visual style often emphasizes composition, lighting, and movement, allowing him to produce images and video that feel dynamic and immersive.

Alongside his photography and film work, Peng has developed strong design skills in logo creation, layout design, and illustration. His interest in working across multiple mediums is intentional, he believes that exploring different creative disciplines expands his imagination and helps him approach projects from fresh perspectives. By moving between photography, video, and design, he is able to experiment with ideas in new ways and continuously evolve his artistic voice.
