BIOGRAPHY

Ze Thao Sengsoulichanh (she/they) is a 1.5 generation Hmong-American refugee. They are a multimedia artist, storyteller, and podcast producer. Alongside her podcast partner and co-host, Dee Pha, they launched Mango & Peppers in 2018 - covering social topics around Hmong and Asian-American identity, social issues, and current events. The source and motivation for her storytelling stems from her passion for highlighting the diversity within Hmong culture, and Asian diaspora, reclaiming with her indigenous roots, and documenting the intergenerational wisdom, hopes, and dreams ascending within her community. Notable works include Mango & Peppers, Hmonglish Dictionary zine, and contributor and editor on the Planting SEADS: Southeast Asian Diaspora Stories project.
