FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY

DATES & TIME:  TUESDAY, MAY 16, 6-9PM

This session will provide specific instruction in how to light and photograph food products - with an emphasis in restaurant photography. The session will review staging, photography techniques, lighting and what types of lenses work best for this work. This is a hands-on session, that takes participants through a variety of aspects of product based photography.

LEAD ARTIST

In Progress artist Tomas Leal is a freelance photographer and the owner of Leal Studios, providing services in photography, videography, graphic design, art curation & consultation.   Leal also works as a teaching artist, for youth and adults. His expertise is in portraiture and event photography but is a very versatile photographer, versatile photographer, as he works in product and real estate photography.

All activity will take place at In Progress - Studio 213 / 213 Front Avenue, Saint Paul MN 55117

The Independent Photographer is an intermediate level workshop series for emerging artists that are ready to take the next steps towards their professional development. We are seeking 8 participants for this series with an expectation that those that are accepted to the program will commit to the entire process.
