TESTIMONIes OF RESILIENCe

Stories shared by survivors of relationship abuse

In Progress has been partnering with Violence Free Minnesota to publicly share testimonials from survivors of relationship abuse. The goal is to “dismantle oppression, advance racial justice, and promote equity to end relationship abuse and create violence free communities.”

The interviews collected and presented by Violence Free Minnesota,  IP artist Tiana LaPointe, and their partner in this effort In Progress. Founded in 1978, Violence Free Minnesota is a statewide coalition of over 90 member programs working to end relationship abuse. After 40 years, the coalition formerly known as the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women (MCBW), knew it was time to update our name to better reflect our ultimate goal: to live in a violence free state.

We would love to share these stories with you but due to the vulnerability of those that shared their stories, we leave it to our partner to determine where and how these powerful testimonies will be shared.
